Get a useful estimate in four steps

    Pick Zapier for tasks, Make for operations, or n8n for workflow executions.

    Enter monthly runs

    Use the number of trigger events or scheduled executions you realistically expect in one month.

    Describe the work per run

    For Zapier, count successful billable actions. For Make, add action modules and average bundles. n8n bills by execution, so those fields are hidden.

    Account for retries

    Add a measured retry or replay percentage instead of assuming every run succeeds once.

What the estimate includes

Zapier

Counts successful billable action steps. Triggers and non-billable built-in steps are not added as tasks.

Make

Includes one trigger check per scenario run, then multiplies action modules by processed bundles.

n8n

Counts complete workflow executions and replays, not each individual node inside an execution.

Usage calculator questions

Does the calculator save or send my numbers?

No. Calculation happens in your browser. Share adds the selected inputs to the page URL, and Download creates a text file locally.

Why does Make ask for bundles?

A module can process multiple bundles during one scenario run. Each processed bundle can multiply action operations, so bundle volume materially changes the estimate.

Why are steps hidden for n8n?

n8n cloud pricing is generally based on complete workflow executions rather than the number of nodes inside a workflow, so node count does not belong in this estimate.

Is this a price calculator?

No. It estimates usage units. Compare the result with the current plan limits and prices on the official platform site.
